Uganda’s impressive run in the ICC CWC Challenge League B second round continued with a commanding 8 wicket victory over Singapore on Monday.
With Pace ballers earlier fronted to be the difference in the tournament, Ssenyondo’s exceptional performance saw him comeback strong as a spinner, claiming 4 wickets for just 36 runs in 9 overs, effectively dismantling Singapore’s batting line up with signs of him replicating his first round form In Uganda

The win that was achieved with 56 balls to spare, reinforced Uganda’s dominance in the tournament following their earlier victory over Bahrain.

He was well supported by Cosmas Kyewuta and Kenneth Waiswa, who chipped in with crucial wickets.

Chasing 244, Uganda’s top order displayed composure and precision. Raghav Dhawan, continuing his fine form, anchored the innings with an unbeaten 71 off 66 balls, while Alpesh Ramjani contributed a vital 67 off 61 balls.
Their unbroken 121-run partnership ensured Uganda reached 245/2 in just 40.4 overs.
