Uganda Kobs Head Coach Morley Byekwaso is full of praise for the newly appointed skipper of the U-23 side which will take part in the upcoming CECAFA U23 tournament scheduled to kick off on 17th July Enock Walusimbi.

Byekwaso entrusted Walusimbi with a role he has held at club level and he comes with vast experience having guided Express FC to the 2020/21 Startimes Uganda Premier League triumph.

He says Walusimbi has led senior players at Express FC and as such deserves the role;

“Walusimbi deserves that, he has led these senior players of Express to success, he’s a good leader, good advisor and I think he deserves the position,” Byekwaso disclosed to FUFA Media.

Walusimbi will be the Kobs skipper in the 2021 CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup which will take place in Ethiopia but his immediate task will be the two friendly games against the Saudi Arabia national team (The Falcons).

The Kobs are currently in the training camp in Saudi Arabia where they will take part in two friendly games with the Falcons before setting off for Ethiopia.
