SC Villa coach Edward Kaziba has continued to strengthen his squad ahead of the 2020/21 StarTimes UPL with the acquisition of Midfielder Goffin Oyirwoth Geoffrey.

The 20-year old joins the Joogos on a two-year employment contract after leaving Katwe United at the end of the 2019/20 season.

Goffin started his football career at Superheroes United football Academy and switched to Buddo SS to advance his education before joining Express in January 2019.

Before joining Express FC, Goffin featured in the Futsal Super League with Typhoons in the 2018/19 season.

In the video posted on the SC Villa facebook page, Oyirwoth says he has always wanted to be part of this great club.

“I’ve always wanted to be part of this great club, and now that my opportunity has arrived, I will serve with pride and honor,” he said

“I can promise the Jogoos’ fans that when the season begins, we will make them proud. I am glad to be part of the Jogoo legacy and I’m happy to have teammates who have welcomed me so well”, he added.

He becomes SC Villa’s third signing in the ongoing transfer after the club unveiled goalie Meddie Kibirige and defender Andrew Kiwanuka last week.

SC Villa finished third last season on the 16-team log with 44 points garnered in 25 games.
