Midfielder George Kasonko has been unveiled by BUL Football Club as their fourth signing in this ongoing transfer window.
The 25-year old joins the Eastern Giants on a two-year employment contract from neighbors and rivals Busoga United.
Kasonko has played for Busoga United since 2013 while the club was still known as Kirinya Jinja SS.
He played a vital role in guiding the club to promotion to the topflight from the Big League in 2017 and helped them beat relegation in their debut season.
He was once again key as Busoga United survived relegation by a whisker last season.
BUL finished eleventh on the StarTimes Uganda Premier League log last season with 33 points in 27 games
He becomes BUL’s fourth signing in less than two days after Saidi Keni, Ibrahim Nsimbe and Hannington Ssebwalunyo were all confirmed as the Jinja based side new additions in the last 48-hours.
BUL FC has also released more than 13 players from their squad. Robert Mukongotya, Deogracious Ojok, Denis Okot, Jimmy Kulaba, Musa Walangalira, Vitalis Tabu and Abdul Kimera are some of players that have left the club.
