Former Vipers SC and SC Villa versatile defender Geoffrey Wasswa has joined Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) FC, it’s official. The move was made official on Friday evening by the Lugogo-based side through their website.

He joins the Kasasiro Boys from the Jogoos on a two-year employment contract that will see him stay at the club till 2023.

He is expected to add versatility to the Lugogo based side that finished fourth in the just concluded Startimes Uganda Premier League.

Wasswa has previously played for St. Mary’s Boarding School before he was elevated to the Kitende Senior side, Vipers SC. Before joining KCCA, Wasswa was set to join URA FC but the two parties failed to agree on contract terms at the eleventh hour after the club decided to reduce his sign-on fee for having leaked the proceedings of the deal to the public before finalising.

The former Vipers SC player is the 6th signing for KCCA FC during this transfer window. Brian Majwega, Brian Kayanja, Emmanuel Wasswa, Yasser Mugerwa and Usama Arafat are the other new acquisitions.
