A heavyweight FUFA Women Super League is upon us on Friday afternoon at UMHSL playground in Lubaga as Uganda Martyrs Lubaga Women FC lock horns with current league leaders She Corporate.
These two sides have been the two best team in the league this season as they occupy the first two positions.
She Corporate is just three points above their rivals at the summit with same games played.
She Corporate are the only unbeaten side in the division and have the most victories this season (7).
Uganda Martyrs have six victories this season and has lost three games this season, which includes their 2-0 loss to She Corporate in the first round.
Favor Nambatya scored both goals for She Corporate.
Uganda Martyrs come into this game on a back of a 2-0 victory over Rines SS while She Corporates drew 1-1 with also Rines SS.
Uganda Martyrs will hope for revenge so as to tie the points with She Corporates, but they will have do it without head coach Rogers Nkugwa who is out suspended having gotten a red card against Rines.
They will also miss star players Catherine Nagadya, Patience Nabulobi and Nakanjjako Immaculate who are all out with illness while Brenda Munyana is out with a suspension.
Kevin Nakacwa is expected to replace Nabulobi and will pattern Halima Kanyago in CB. Nakacwa played at Center back for Uganda Martyrs at the concluded school games in Gulu.
For She Corporate, they don’t have any major injury concern and will rely on Nambatya and Naome Nagadya to return to winning ways.
There are two other games on the day, She Maroons will take on Lady Doves while Kawempe Muslims will host Kampala Queens.
