The second week of the Frenzy Edition of the Futsal Super League was full of action as Edgar’s Youth Programme and Mengo City combined to score 19 goals in thrilling encounters.
Edgar’s Youth Programme showed improvement from their Week 1 performance, securing an impressive 9-4 win over Lubaga Grameen, after drawing 2-2 with Mbarara QC in their first match.
Mengo City followed suit, dominating Kabuusu Clouds with a 5-1 victory. The match saw five different Mengo City players find the back of the net: Haki Bagalaba, Akram Ssali, Ian Tugume, Akram Katende, and Arafat Kabanda.

The victory marked a joyous evening for Mengo City, adding to their accolades from January.
Coach Abdillahi Abdifata was honored as Luka Pharmacy’s Coach of the Month, while senior team players who recently graduated earned Player of the Month honors, powered by Ssaka Bulk Hauliers.
In other notable matches, Crown Lubiri continued to impress with a 2-1 win over Busunju Spaks.

Abdiwahab Abasi and AbdiShakur Abdul Kadir scored for Crown, while Keith Ssali netted for Busunju Spaks.
Crown Lubiri had already secured an early spot in the next stage of the tournament, having won their first match 4-0 against Park FC.
Kisenyi FC, despite leading 2-1, were held to a 2-2 draw by Kabowa Dream Team. Waleed Bashir scored both goals for Kisenyi, while Ogwang Victor and Ssenyonga Aksam found the net for Kabowa Dream Team.
All matches took place at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena, where the third week of the tournament will continue on Friday, 14th February, offering a Valentine’s Day experience for fans.
