The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) Disciplinary Panel has slapped Wakiso Giants defender George Kaddu with a two-month ban from all football matches.
Kaddu was sent off in the 5-0 defeat to Vipers last weekend at the St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende and is understood to have attacked the referee Ronald Kirangwa, slapped the referee cards and delayed to leave the field of play after he was sent off.
“Accordingly, CPD hereby sanctions George Kaddu with two months suspension from participating in all football matches within the specified period effective immediately as of 26th October 2021 up to 26th December 2021” part of the ruling by the FUFA Disciplinary Panel read.
Kaddu has also been slapped with a fine of UGX 1M which should be paid immediately.
The left-back is expected to miss 10 SUPL games and will make his return on the field on December 28th when Wakiso Giants play URA on matchday 13.
Wakiso who are currently managerless after the departure of Douglas Bamweyana, return to action on Tuesday 26th October when they play Police away in the UPL.
