Kampala Queens FC will be aiming to close the points gap between them and League She Corporate FC when they take on Uganda Martyrs WFC on Wednesday evening at IUIU grounds in Kabojja.
The Queens are currently second on the log with 11 points, six behind She Corporate FC but with a game less.
In the two games played at home this season, Kampala Queens have only managed to earn a point losing one (2-0) against Kawempe Muslim and drawing one(0-0) against Lady Doves FC over the weekend .in those two games, they have not found the back of the net in any.
Kampala Queens head coach Hamza Lutalo will hope midfielder Shamirah Nalugya gets back to full fitness having started the game against Lady Doves FC on bench. He will also hope that Lilian Mutuuzo, Zaina Nandede and Margaret Kunihira are at their best once again, having scored five of the six goals the team has this season. Kunihira has three to herself.
For Uganda Martyrs, they have played only four games, winning two and losing the other two.
Rogers Nkugwa their head coach and his troops will be hoping for a good result to get their house back in order.
The Uganda U17 Women’s National Team return from Ethiopia will be a big boost for the Lubaga based women’s team with a return of players like Sharon Kaidu, Esther Namusoke, Patience Nabulobi, Rebecca Nandhego, Shamusa Najjuma, Brenda Munyana, Sumaya Nalumu and Catherine Nagadya.
