FUFA, UPL surrenders to Clubs and fans pressure, returns to old format

The Federation of Uganda Football association (FUFA) alongside the Uganda Premier League secretariat have agreed with clubs to discontinue with the New Format League as it makes a bold statement to return to the old format league.

This has been announced by FUFA President Moses Hashim Magogo in an emergency meeting held today at FUFA complex in mengo

The new format league has seen boycott from the fans as well as Vipers SC failing to turn up on matchday.

However the FUFA President remains positive of bringing back the new format with time to come.
