Kyetume FC, Maroons FC and Blacks Power have secured promotion to next season’s StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
This is after they all secured vital victories in their final day matches to finish in the top three of this year’s StarTimes FUFA Big League and hence secure promotion.
Maroons defeated Nyamityobora 5-0 at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara, with Fred Amaku, Solomon Walusimbi, Hadad Kambugu and Opio Belmos getting on the scoresheet.
Kyetume travelled to Mbale and held on to beat Kataka (who started the day atop of the log) 3-2 courtesy of Sharif Ssaka, Ezra Kaye and Ezra Bida goals in the first half for the Slaughterers.
Blacks Power defeated Luwero United 2-1 at Aki bua Stadium to win the FUFA Big League and secure promotion.
At the other end of the table, Proline got relegated after Ndejje University humbled Kitara 5-0 at the Arena of Visions.
Proline now join Nyamityobora and MYDA as the other relegated sides from the FUFA Big League.
