The StarTimes FUFA Big league match day six resumed on Thursday evening with  six games. Three games were played in each group: Rwenzori and Elgon.

Arua Hills extended their unbeaten start to the season while Tooro United went five points clear after their comfortable win in Luwero.

Here is a wrap of the matchday six games played on Thursday evening.

Starting off in the Elgon Group, Arua Hill extended their unbeaten start to the season to six games after they defeated Gadaffi FC 2-2 at the Barifa playground in Arua.

Cesar Okhuti broke the deadlock as early as the 4th minute for Arua Hill but just before the half-hour mark, Mark Bamukyaye levelled matters for Gadaffi to ensure the game went into recess with score tied.

Former Vipers striker Alfred Leku restored Arua’s lead in the 71st minute but Bithum Ronald netted late on for the game to end 2-2 in Arua

Still in Arua City, Paidha Black Angels’s miserable start to the season continued after they suffered a 2-1 loss to Calvary FC at the AbaBet Greenlight Stadium.

Julius Malingumu opened the scoring in the first half for Calvary before Julius Choka leveled matters for Paidha from the spot with twenty minutes to go.

But with just seven minutes to go, Calvary restored parity from the spot through Andama Julius for the game to end 2-1 and in turn hand Paidha their fifth loss of the season.

In Mbale, Black Powers returned to winning ways after they narrowly defeated Mbale Heroes 1-0 at the Mbale Municipal Stadium courtesy of a innocent Maduuka late strike.

Black Powers have now garnered nine points in six points, three below top placed Arua Hill while Mbale Heroes, who are on six points drop a place down to relegation.

In the Rwenzori Group, Kigezi HomeBoys netted a late spot kick to deny Terrazo and Tiles their first win of the season after a 1-1 stalemate at the Kakyeka Stadium, Mbarara

Kigezi had a penalty missed in the opening half as the game went into the break goal-less.

The deadlock was then broken by Terrazo In the 70th minute when Peter Ssemanda looped the ball past Ismael Zziwa but as the Ankole heats were about to start celebrations, Kigezi were gifted a penalty which Denis Lubowa calmly converted in the 90th minute.

In Luwero, Tooro United put three goals past Luwero United at the Kasana Kosovo Playground to extend their lead atop of the Rwenzori Group.

Marvin Oshaba netted a first half brace while Julius Pilotto added the other to propel the Edward Golola’s side to their fifth win of the season.

Tooro United sit top of the Rwenzori Group with 15 points in 6 games, five above Proline who are the nearest competition.

In Lugogo, Proline FC and Ndejje University played to a 1-all draw at the MTN Omondi Stadium. Brian Omony converted from the spot for Proline but his goal was cancelled out late on in the game by Owiny Ronald.
