Mengo Sports Academy is gearing up for a high stakes clash against Park FC in the quarterfinals of the Futsal Super League Frenzy edition.

The match is scheduled for Friday, February 21, 2025, at Old Kampala Futsal Arena and will be the last game of the quarterfinal stage.

Park FC enters the encounter as underdogs, having finished second in Group A behind Crown Lubiri.

Their path to the quarterfinals was marked by an emphatic 8-2 victory over Busunju Spaks on the final day of the group stage on February 14.

Under the guidance of team manager Alex Ssegawa, the Bugoloobi-based side has been heavily reliant on the stellar performances of AbdNoor Nsereko, who has been instrumental in their campaign.

On the other hand, Mengo Sports Academy boasts an impeccable record, having won all their group stage matches to top Group D.

Their dominance was evident in key victories, including a 5-1 triumph over Kabuusu Clouds and a 4-1 win against Kisugu FC.

Ian Tugume emerged as the star player, netting three goals across both games and proving to be a crucial asset for his team.

The quarterfinal evening will kick off at 5 pm with Group A leaders Crown Lubiri taking on Group D runners up Kabuusu Clouds.

At 6 pm, Group C’s second-placed team, QC Mbarara, will battle Group B’s Kabowa Dream Team.

The action continues at 7pm when Group C leaders Edgar’s Youth Program face off against Group B runners-up Kisenyi FC.

The winners of these one-legged quarterfinal ties will advance to the semifinals set for April 4, 2025.

Following the Frenzy edition’s conclusion, the Futsal Super League will resume its regular season action.
