Express FC forward Eric Kambale has made the nominees list for the upcoming Fortebet Real Stars Sports monthly awards ceremony scheduled for Tuesday at route 256 restaurant in Lugogo.
The Express target man had an impressive month of May, scoring eight goals across all competitions. He had a hat-trick against Kyetume in Nakisunga, a brace against Kitara and a goal each against UPDF, Busoga United and Police.
He will face stiff competition from teammate Mathias Muwanga and Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club’s striker Steven Dese Mukwala who made the grade in the football category.
Muwanga kept four clean sheets in five games while Mukwala was on target four times in five games.
Elsewhere, JKL’s Hope Akello, Ndejje Angels’ Samuel Ajaka and KIU Titans’ Aden Faisal have made the grade from Basketball.
