We are set for an entertaining weekend with Match Day two (2) action in the 2024/25 Finance Trust Women Super League as rivals take each other on at the MUBS playground in Nakawa.

2021/22 FUFA Women Super League champions will play host to 2022/23 champions Kampala Queens with both sides having a new look to their squads hoping to clinch three points and stretch the lead up top early as possible.

She Corporates edged their first game of the campaign 1-0 away to Uganda Martyrs while the queens drew 1-1 with Wakiso Hill at home in Lugogo after a late Jackie Mawuwa free kick.

The two sides last met in May this year in the FUFA Women’s Cup and She Corporate managed to edge tie 1-0 at the Phillip Omondi stadium in Lugogo.

However if there is on factor that could influence this tie, it would be Kampala Queen’s head coach Charles Ayiekoh who announced him self into women football when he guided She Corporates to the 2023 CECAFA Zonal CAF Champions League Qualifiers final in Arusha, Tanzania.

Therefore he’s the man to look at when any side would like to get something at the Nakawa side which previously clinched two trophies last season (2023/24 FUFA Women Elite League and 2023/24 FUFA Women’s Cup).

The two sides have met five times in the Women Super League Queens winning and drawing twice with She Corporates winning the other.
