Interim head coach Sharon Kizza helped Kampala Queens attain their second win of the campaign with 2-0 win over Rines SS in the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League.

The Mutundwe side which parted ways with head coach Charles Ayiekoh earlier started a fresh with Kizza at the helm (after leaving Kitara FC as Fitness coach).
Zainah Nandede and Sumaiyah Nalumu scored the two second half goals at the Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium after both sides going goalless teams in the first stanza.

Substitute Nalumu,who had replaced Peace Muduwa opened the scoring just three minutes after the hour mark before Nandede doubled the lead two minutes later.

After the game interim coach Sharon Kizza declared that this time round they came out to play good football;
“We came into this game focusing on playing good football and win the game” she stated
“The Ladies were very positive, came and gave me what they had promised which was winning this game”
“We had a strategy of killing off the game in the first half, it didn’t happen and we went back told them to relax and later came back and did it” she concluded
This victory stregthens Kampala Queens in second with 9 points out of the 5 games played this season.
For Rines SS, it continues to be a horrible season as they lay in 9th on the Log with 4 points in 4 games.
In their next games, the Queens will host Amus College WFC on Saturday, November 9, at Omondi Stadium, Lugogo as Rines SS take a short trip to Bugolobi to face Uganda Martyrs Lubaga WFC.
