Kampala Queens edged She Corporates 1-0 away to win their first game of the campaign at MUBS play grounds in Nakawa on Saturday morning.
The Queens goal was netted by team Captain Shamirah Nalugya just 6 minutes into the game straight from the corner on the right side.

Coming into Saturday’s games, the visitors had started the season with 1-1 stalemate at home to Wakiso Hill and were focused to win this encounter.
The Victory takes Kampala Queens top with four points joint with Makerere University Women Football who also beat Tooro Queens by the same score line thanks to Jemima Twesigye.
The Queens will take a short trip to Makerere to face Makerere University WFC on Saturday 12th October while She Corporate are to host Olila High School in Nakawa on the same day.
The other game played on Saturday was between Rines SS and Olila HS in Wakiso which was abandoned moments away from full-time after the referee awarded hosts a penalty which was contested by the visitors with the game at 0-0.
