Finance Trust Bank FWSL: She Corporate Edge Lady Doves in Jinja

She Corporate FC kicked off the second round of the 2024/25 Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League season with a narrow but vital 1-0 victory over Lady Doves in Jinja on Sunday, February 2, 2025.

Jesca Namanda was the star for She Corporate, scoring the only goal of the match in the 37th minute with a stunning strike.

Goalkeeper Molly Nava also played a crucial role, making a key save to keep Lady Doves at bay.

The win moved She Corporate to 14 points, maintaining their 8th place in the standings, but now only three points behind the top five.

Lady Doves, on the other hand, remained in 4th place with 20 points.

Namanda’s goal took her tally to five for the season, just four behind top scorer Resty Kobusobozi.

In other matchday 12 action, She Maroons and Olila HS WFC played to a goalless draw.

The draw was Olila’s sixth of the season, allowing them to climb out of the relegation zone and move one point above the red zone.

Looking ahead, She Corporate will visit Olila HS WFC on Saturday, February 8, while Lady Doves will host Wakiso Hill WFC the following day.
