Uganda U17 Women’s National Team confirmed the next round advancement of the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers on Sunday January 20.
The Teen Cranes put eight (8) past Namibia to complete their battering 18-0 win on aggregate.
With players like team captain Agnes Nabukenya out for a rest, Joan Kizza Namulindwa, stepped up with a hat-trick to ensure a perfect evening for the hosts.
The first Half ended in a 3-0 win with goals from Namibia’s Renalda Angel Tamara who netted an own goal 15 minutes into the game, Namulindwa doubled the advantage 20 minutes later and Isabella Blick making it comfortable.
Into the second stanza, Namulindwa completed her hat trick Five minutes after restart, scoring both in the 46th and 50th minutes.

Three minutes later Rinah Ariho added the sixth before substitutes Nabirye and Nakalema joined the scoring spree.
However this time round Namibia managed to clinch a consolation goal through Shiwovanhu Haukongo 8 minutes past the hour mark.
The victory means Uganda will face Kenya at the next stage of qualification for the 2025 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup that will be played in Morocco.
With Morocco having taken their spot as hosts, only Four will be left for the other African sides who hope to qualify into the first-ever U17 Women’s World Cup hosted in Africa.
