Nelson James Bogere is man chosen to lead She Cranes to the FAST5 Netball World Series in November 2024.
Bogere who has been in and around the Netball circles was chosen by the Normalisation Committee.
The FAST5 series are set to start on 9th and climax from 10th November 2024 at Wolfbrook Arena.
A happy Bogere spoke to the media on Tuesday at the Lugogo Indoor Arena where the She Cranes are training and said ;
“The feeling is unbelievable everyone want to be at the top of everything and here I am ” he started
Adding that; ” We have started training, all the players players we called forward managed to come to camp”
“Some ladies have been playing are looking fine while others are a bit rusty since they haven’t been playing but i hope they will sharpen by the time we leave for the tournament” he concluded
She Cranes will play in this series alongside Australia, England, Fiji, Jamaica, Malawi, New Zealand, Samoa and South Africa
This is the second time Uganda will participate in the series after the previous being labeled the “Babandana” for their famous dance.
