Faisal Wabyoona has completed his dream move to StarTimes Uganda Premier League giants KCCA FC.
The youngster has put pen to paper on a five-year employment contract until the end of the 2026/27 season.
The 19-year old becomes KCCA’s latest new addition in this ongoing transfer window after Moses Waiswa earlier put pen to paper on a two-year employment contract.
Wabyoona was part of the Uganda Hippos squad that reached the U20 Africa Cup of Nations in Mauritania in 2021.
He is a Futsal Super League product, having featured for Big Talent Soccer Academy in the 2020/21 season before featuring for Aidenal School of Soccer and Art last season.
He captained and helped Big Talent reach the final of the Futsal Super League in the 2020/21 season before finishing as Aidenal SOSA topscorer in the 2021/22 season as his side finished third on the log. (12 goals).
He also captained Kibuli SS to a third place finished at the 2022 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association games in Arua.
“I feel very happy to sign for KCCA FC. ” Wabyoona told KCCA website after putting pen to paper.
“This is a very big club and I am aware of the task at hand but I am ready for the competition. I have worked with the Manager Morley Byekwaso at the U20 National Team and this was an easy decision for me to make. I can wait to get started soon with the lads”
At KCCA, he will compete for a starting position with Moses Waiswa, Ashraf Mugume, Gift Ali, Emmanuel Wasswa and Dominic Ayella .
