Uganda Premier League champions Express FC have confirmed the double scoop of Nicholas Kasozi and Deus Bukenya.
Kasozi joins the Red Eagles on a one-year loan deal from Kyetume while Bukenya joins as a free agent and has put pen to paper on a one-year employment contract.
Kasozi has previously featured for Synergy, SC Villa and KCCA FC while Bukenya made the name playing for Vipers SC and later Prisons FC in Botswana.
Speaking to the club website, Express head coach Wasswa Bbosa stated that the reinforcements will make the squad stronger.
“The new faces are definitely a huge addition to our squad because we all know we have to defend the league but also we have more games to play this season with the continent being priority so we need to have more options and I am sure the new players will certainly do a fantastic Job”
Kasozi and Bukenya become the club’s latest additions this window after Joel Mutakubwa and Joseph Akwandwanaho we’re snapped up earlier on in the window.
Express will represent the nation in the CAF Confederation Cup this season and are currently preparing to face Sudanese side Al Merrikh in the premilimary round first leg tie this Friday at the St.Mary’s Stadium Kitende
They will travel to Khartoum for the return leg set for 18th September.
