Kampala Queens Football Club is set to unveil Ethiopian Tactician Haile Gabriel as a direct replacement of Charles Ayeikoh.
Ayeikoh resigned before their game against Rines SS in Wakiso where former Kitara FC had taken over on interim basis.
With all this in sight, Sharon Kizza is said to keep at the Club as the new man’s assistant after departure of former assistants Ali Zzinda and Tonny Mawejje who joined Wakiso Giants.
Other people who left the Club include Dr Ronald Mutebi, statistician John Kasozi and fitness coach Juma Sekiziyivu.
Little summary to show where Haile Gabriel has been.
Haile Gabriel coached the U-20 women’s team in 2019 a team where he was credited for identifying women’s talent from the grassroots.
He also guided Ethiopia to win the regional CECAFA Women’s U-20 Championship 2022 in Uganda.
Thus pushing the Ethiopian team into the final phase of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers where they faced Ghana over two legs.
In the team’s next game, Kampala Queens will host Amus College at Phillip Omondi stadium on 9th November and hopefully it will be the gaffer’s first game.
