Stanbic Uganda Cup champions BUL FC have finally confirmed the signing of Denis Mwemezi.
The forward joins the Eastern Giants on a two-year employment deal after running down his contract at Vipers SC.
Mwemezi had been at the Viper SC since the start of the 2019/20 season when he joined the club after impressing for Ssese during the 2019 Airtel Masaza Cup. He had found the back of the net seven times in that campaign.
“Am super excited to join one of the best and big clubs in the country, it’s the club that I think will help me grow and advance in my footballing career” Mwemezi said after putting pen to paper before adding;
“My target is to play and help the team achieve more success, trophies and at least take the club into CAF confederation cup group stages.”
The pacy winger becomes the club’s seventh new addition this window after Frank Kalanda, Ronald Otti Ocitti, Emmanuel Obua, Tom Ikara, Anthony Mayanja and Benon Tahomera joined the club in the past few weeks.
The Jinja based side has also renewed employment contracts of Simon Peter Oketch, Martin Aprem and Reagan Kalyowa.
BUL FC will represent Uganda in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup after defeating Vipers SC 3-1 in the Stanbic Uganda Cup final in Masindi.
