As the Betpawa Futsal Super League takes its midseason break, the Frenzy Edition stage is set for another thrilling round of action in the competition.

Week one saw 14 goals celebrated across three games played on Friday, January 31, 2025, with Crown Lubiri standing tall in their dominant performance.

Now, as the league gears up for week two, the intensity is set to increase, especially with Crown Lubiri continuing their grind against Busunju Sparks.

Week two will take place at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena on Friday, February 7, 2025, and all eyes will be on Crown Lubiri as they look to build on their impressive start to the season.

Having beaten the Pitty Bulls 4-0 in week one, Crown Lubiri emerged as the team to watch.

The majority of their playing staff is made up of Somalis, and under the leadership of Somali coach Najib AbdulRazak, the team delivered a performance of the week.

With three players earning spots in the top five performances of the week and Coach Najib being named Coach of the Week, Crown Lubiri is in top form heading into week two.

In week one, the standout player for Crown Lubiri was none other than Muhammad Sharif, whose performance helped secure the impressive win.

In week two, however, they will face a fresh challenge in the form of Busunju Sparks, who will be looking to get their first Frenzy edition outing off to a strong start after resting last week.

The Sparks will be keen to stop Sharif and make a statement against the dominant side.

The competition doesn’t end there, though. In the other matchups, Kisenyi FC will take on Kabowa Dream Team after a strong 4-2 victory over Nansana Aska in the opening week.

The Edgar’s Youth Programme will look for their first win as they face Lubaga Grameen, who survived a tough 2-2 draw with Mbarara QC.

Match will see Brian Olwa, the January Player of the Month nominee, compete against the likes of Micheal Abura and Samuel Omara, who have been key players for Park FC and Mengo City, respectively.

Mengo City will clash with Kabuusu Clouds in what promises to be an exciting encounter.

Both sides have been impressive this season, and Mengo City’s coach will be looking to prove his credentials after being nominated for Coach of the Month in January.

As the league progresses, the absence of Nansana Aska, Park FC, and Mbarara QC this week provides a temporary break for some teams, but the action will resume with a bang in week three.

Kisugu FC, who failed to honor their opening fixture due to time management issues, will finally make their debut when they take the field.

The full fixture for Week Two:

  • Lubaga Grameen vs Edgar’s Youth Programme at 17:00hrs
  • Kabowa Dream Team vs Kisenyi FC at 18:00hrs
  • Crown Lubiri vs Busunju Sparks at 19:00hrs
