The third Corporate Boxing match up fixture of this season was put out in day Light at Paradise Fitness Gym on Thursday 31st October 2024.
It is expected to be an interesting one as Derrick Ndungu alias Rickman Manrick will take on Dues Ndugwa alias Grenade official on Boxing day (26th December 2024) at the UMA show grounds.

The two previously had an altercation between each other last year when Grenade attacked Rick man who was then socialite Sheila Gashumba’s fiance at the Kampala Style Brunch event, held at La Terezza in Kampala.
Reason cited by many after that attack was Gashumba since they both once dated the socialite who is expected to turn up on that day after a hint provided by Uganda Boxing Federation President Moses Muhangi on the SITE;
“We expect a number of dignitaries to be present on such a day, Sheila? maybe.” he said
After the fight launch, a fierce Grenade promised to beat Rickman to bits till i see blood;

“I am going to beat that guy but before it all make sure you get a hold of his passport because he might run off to Sweden” he said
“Am not going to prepare that match because he can’t go further than round one” he concluded
On the other side, Rickman labeled Grenade as a joker and added that he is weak and can not manage him;
“Grenade is weak and won’t match my fitness but this is less to the cause, we would like to bring hope to the Ghetto youths that follow us and also attract more people to the sport”
All this happened before Grenade threw the table infront of him to show his readiness.
The UBF President Muhangi continued to emphasis that no body is allowed to prepare any Corporate Boxing and its no anyone without a certified boxing coach assigned by the Federation.
Adding that; “This Corporate Boxing is taking place with Uganda Boxing Champions League but soon we have a plan to separate the two.”
