The Federation of Uganda Basketball Associations (FUBA) has postponed all league games of all the different divisions and tournaments until further notice.

This comes after the State of Nation Address by the President of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who Instituted a 32-day suspension on all sports events and gatherings in the country due to the wide-spreading coronavirus pandemic.

In a letter released on Wednesday, FUBA through the President, Nasser Sserunjogi confirmed the postponement of all league games, citing the need for protective and preventive measures to counter the possible spread of the pandemic to the basketball fraternity and public at large.

The FUBA National Basketball League (NBL) was due to start this Friday 20th March while FUBA Div 1 and 2 were scheduled to begin on Saturday, 21st March 2020.
