Badminton coaches enlighten the Lugogo Arena as they show off their skills in the City Tyres Badminton Challenge on Saturday October 19th.
With the championship set to climax on Sunday, beautiful match ups were sighted coaches William Kabindi and Mark Ssenyodwa were in action in their respective categories.
Kabindi reknown coach for both Mbogo High and Uganda Badminton National team, managed to take part in the Veterans category.

Without even focusing on who he was playing, it was a day for the Mbogo students to sharpen their voices and make a bit of noice to intimidate the opponent inorder to help push their longtime gaffer over the line.
And at the end Kabandi won the game to advance to the quaters.
“Ohh I hadn’t played this long after some time” Kabindi echoed with tiredness on his face
“I would love to have a rest but still have the doubles in a bit” he concluded
On the otherside, St Micheal High School coach Mark Ssenyondwa also had a troop behind him as he went to win his game late in.
The former Kibuli and Kakungulu shuttler who is playing in the professional category managed to win his game against CFK’s Joshua Ekochu in the third set.
Despite Coach Ssenyondwa clinching the first, Ekonchu won the second to push it for a decisive third that determined the proceedings after a 21-19 win.
In the under 13 boys category, Sam Bisaso and Rehan Kitenda reached final. Bisaso stormed to final by beating Kalton Kisakye 21-3, 21-6 in the semi final
For Kitenda, he overpowered Virani Alid with two straight sets (21-5 | 21-3), an action that saw both Kisakye and Viran settle for Bronze.
Some categories are still in the semi finals, Quarterfinals and last 16 after facing delay on Saturday morning due to other presidential engements in Lugogo.
The finals will climax on Sunday 20th October starting at 8:30 at the same venue (Lugogo Indoor Arena) with awards also set to be given out on the same day.
However there will also be a draw for the people in the Arena to see will win the Supreme 15 gears Bicycle.
