Thousands of fans flocked to Namboole Stadium for the 2024 Masaza Cup final, where Buddu claimed their third title with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over first-time finalists Kyaggwe.
A powerful header from Mike Walaga in the 22nd minute sealed the match, solidifying Buddu’s status as one of the competition’s most formidable teams.
Despite Kyaggwe’s strong performance and relentless pressure, Buddu’s goalkeeper, Marvin Ssebirago, rose to the occasion, deflecting every attempt on goal and delivering a standout performance that kept Buddu’s clean sheet intact, securing their third championship.
The stadium atmosphere reached a crescendo when Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, along with Crown Prince Wasajja and Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga, graced the event and personally presented the trophy to the victorious team.
Beyond the thrilling match, Buddu’s jubilant fans enjoyed an unforgettable celebration in the Pilsner King party section.

With Pilsner King priced at just UGX 2,000, fans danced to the familiar sounds from Masaka, with popular DJ Suuna Ben energizing the crowd. Other entertainers, including Karole Kasita and DJ Aly Breezy, kept the party alive, marking Buddu’s victory with music, dance, and celebration.
