It has been a tough season for VfB Stuttgart, who find themselves in the midst of a relegation battle as the season end draws closer. However, the team showed incredible fighting spirit to come back from two goals down to beat Borussia Mönchengladbach on Matchday 25, and influential in that fightback was full back Borna Sosa, who was responsible for assisting two of Stuttgart’s goals. In fact, when we look at the Attacking Zones, 50% of attacks started on Sosa’s left-hand side. We also saw the return of the Sosa-Kaladjzic connection, which could prove crucial in Die Schwaben’s bid for Bundesliga survival.
