The eagerly awaited BATBALL MAXX 2025 is scheduled to take place from March 14th to 23rd, 2025, at Lugogo Cricket Oval, marking the debut edition of this groundbreaking franchise cricket tournament.
Organized by Batball Uganda Limited in partnership with the Uganda Cricket Association, the tournament was initially set for last year but was postponed due to a busy calendar in 2024.
BATBALL MAXX represents the pinnacle of the BATBALL program, which begins with Batball Open, progresses to Batball X, and now culminates in this premier event.
The inaugural edition will feature four franchise teams: Gold, Ruby, Emerald, and Sapphire, composed of top talents from the BATBALL program, Uganda’s national team players, local league stars, and international cricketers.
The tournament will follow a double round-robin format, with two knockout matches leading to a grand final.
With live streaming on Fancode, one of India’s leading digital sports platforms, BATBALL MAXX 2025 will offer local players the chance to showcase their skills to a global audience.
The CEO of Batball Uganda Limited Aakarshit Madaan stated

BATBALL MAXX provides a platform for our youth to shine before a potential global audience of 100 million.
We hope this initiative, supported by the Uganda Cricket Association, inspires more young people to pick up a bat and ball.”
The first edition of BATBALL MAXX has attracted top-tier sponsors, including Dafabet, Plascon Uganda as the official presenting partner, Fancode as the official streaming partner in India, along with Minhas Motors, Roke Telkom, the Indian Association of Uganda, Stanbic Bank Uganda, and Uganda Airlines.
