Former Vipers SC and UPDF FC goalkeeper Bashir Sekagya has completed a move to Kenyan Premier League side Wazito FC.
Sekagya joins the Kenyan side on a two-year employment contract upto 2023.
The custodian was released by the Venoms at the end of the 2020/21 season after both parties failed to agree on terms of renewal, eventually signing Jack Komakech.
Previously, he has as well featured for UPDF FC which he joined after a spell with the KCCA FC youth side in 2017. He played for Proline FC in 2019 as a loanee from Vipers.
After he was released by Vipers, he was rumoured to have signed with the record Uganda Premier League champions SC Villa on a two-year employment contract ahead of the new season but the deal didn’t materialise.
Wazito, who are owned by swedish businessman Ricardo Badoer are currently 15th on the log with only two points garnered in their first four games
