Express FC have parted ways with Baker Mbowa eight months into his role as Headcoach of the red eagles, this has been confirmed through an official statement today on their X handle.

“This was after mutual consent between the two parties, we wish him the best of luck in his endeavors elsewhere and thank him for his services towards the club during his tenure.” said part of the club statement by the CEO Ashraf Miiro.

Badru Kaddu who joined at the start of the season as an assistant having served in a similar position at cross town rivals KCCA will now take charge on interim basis.

Mbowa has had a cocktail of results with the last one being a historic loss at home to Lugazi FC and another away to Vipers SC, his only losses from six games with two wins and draws, leaving the seven time champions in 9th place with 8pts.

Their next and Kaddu’s first game in charge will be away to Wakiso giants on Thursday, 31st October at the kabaka Kyabagu Stadium.
