Ugandan musician Moses Ssali, popularly known as Bebe Cool, has addressed speculation surrounding his son, Alpha Thierry Ssali, and his future at Express FC amid rumors circulating on social media.
Speaking on the matter, Bebe Cool confirmed that the 21-year-old winger is currently undergoing trials in Spain but reassured fans that Alpha will return to Uganda to complete the Uganda Premier League (UPL) season with Express FC.

Trials in Spain, But No Contract Yet
Alpha is currently participating in a training program under Khaled Catalunya Management, a setup designed to assess his technical skills, fitness levels, and overall potential as a professional footballer.
“We expect to receive feedback after the trials, which will provide valuable insights into his status as a player and areas for improvement,” Bebe Cool explained.
He further clarified that while the trials are a significant step in Alpha’s football journey, no official deal has been signed with any Spanish club.
“These claims are premature and inaccurate. Alpha has not signed with any Spanish football club. He will return to Uganda after the trials and finish the season with Express FC in the UPL,” he concluded.

What’s Next for Alpha?
With Express FC preparing for the second round of the Uganda Premier League, Alpha’s return will be a boost for the Red Eagles as they continue their campaign. However, the experience gained from the trials in Spain could serve as a stepping stone for future international opportunities for the young winger.
