Allan Kabonge Named New Head Coach of Arua Hill FC

Arua Hill FC has officially confirmed the appointment of Allan Kabonge as their new head coach. The announcement follows the dismissal of former head coach Robert Omony, who was relieved of his duties earlier this week.

Kabonge, known for his tactical acumen and experience in Ugandan football, makes the switch from fellow FUFA Big League side Gaddafi FC. During his tenure at Gaddafi, he led the team to an impressive third-place standing, keeping them firmly in the hunt for promotion to the Uganda Premier League.

His new challenge, however, will be a much different battle. Arua Hill FC has endured a difficult campaign so far and currently sits in 14th place with just 17 points—deep in the relegation zone. The club will be counting on Kabonge’s leadership to reverse their fortunes and ensure survival in the second division.

Kabonge begins his tenure with immediate effect and will face a stern test right away, as Arua Hill travel to face Calvary FC on Sunday. The coming weeks will be crucial for the Gulu-based side as they look to claw their way out of the danger zone and end the season on a high.

With a proven track record and a reputation for turning struggling sides around, Kabonge’s arrival brings renewed hope to Arua Hill’s camp in their bid to stay afloat in the Big League.
