Active fitness club won the 2024 heroes beating Prisons Taekwondo club by far on Sunday 28th July 2024 in Nsambya.

The Kitgum based club collected a hooping 482 points out of the tournament held at in Kansanga settings up over 300 points gap off runners up.
The club which won the same event last year’s reached the milestone by 34 gold medals, 20 Silver and 14 bronze in both Junior and Senior competition.
After outshining all teams at the event AFC head coach Robinson Okello pointed out the factors that rised his team above others.
“We started our preparations early for this even, we have many players some are in schools so we have been working together with school to fix some times for training”
Uganda prison who only represented at senior even managed to collect 143 which are totaling 10 golds, 10 Silvers and 6 bronze.
Tororo Taekwondo club finished third with 60pts getting collecting from 6 Gold medals, 2 Silver medals while Sharing took home 28 pts 2 gold medals, a Silver and bronze not forgetting UCU Mbale finished fifth with 2 Silver medals and bronze.

The competition had more four teams that got out with no medals in terms of medals.
The event were used to observe on players that are expected to represent Uganda at East Africa championship that is set to take place in late August.
The International Taekwondo Federation president In Uganda David Owori confirmed on the spot of the players
“It has been an outstanding two days event which had 9 teams and AFC has proved too strong, besides it helped us to observe around 30 players which we expect to take to Zanzibar for East Africa nations championship, Uganda will compete with 6 teams after that there will be a World cup in Argentina but Uganda we will stop at East Africa due to finances”
For the rest of the Clubs, Active fitness club 482 points 34 Gold medals, 20 Silver and 14 bronzes while Uganda Prison managed 143 points;10 golds, 10 Silvers and 6 bronzes.
Tororo Taekwondo Club went home with 60pts that contained 6 Gold medals, 2 Silvers, a tally that was more than that of Sharing’s 28 pts which contained 2 gold medals, a Silver and bronze.
