Uganda Premier League side Express FC announced Jimmy Kintu and Richard Malinga as their new coaches replacing Badru Kaddu Mukasa whi departed earlier this week for money bags NEC FC.

From a poor start in thr league with new league entrants Calvary, Kintu is poised to take center stage in Express FC’s revival process alongside assistant Richard Malinga picking up from the process set up by Kaddu Badru from his interim take over to being named full head coach.
Kaddu earned praise with a new philosophy of attracting football at the ‘Mukwano gwa bangi’ club as he promoted a couple of young talents to the senior team.
Whereas Kintu who endured a tough start at Calvary looks like a big gamble to a club destined for greater heights in the league despite a last taste of silverware coming in the 2020/2021 season where they were crowned champions. Since them they have endured mixed results and almost tasting relegation along the process.
They currently sit 7th on the log with 8points from the six games played winning twice, two draws and two loses.
Express FC has full belief and support in the Kintu, Magera partnership to deliver the unfinished job left by the departure of Kaddu.
“To the new era…Join us in welcoming our new head coach, Mr Kintu Jimmy Mwera, and assistant coach Mr Malinga Richard.,” read a statement on the club’s official website.

“Both coaches join us with high ambitions and a tactical approach to propel the club to the next level.”
The two coaches will start their task away against Lugazi FC in the league.
