Ronald Otti: Defender extends contract in Mbarara City

Defender Ronald Otti Ocitti has extend his stay at Uganda Premier League side Mbarara City.

This was announced by the club on Wednesday morning after the player put pen to paper on a short term until the end of the current season.

Otti was captured from Nangabo Green Valley in January 2019, putting pen to contract on an initial three-year employment deal.

His extension is good news for Mbarara City after they failed to agree terms with skipper Hilliary Mukundane to extend his contract. Mukundane has since left the club as a free agent.

In the current window, the Ankole lions has so far signed Charles Ssempa and Najib Tusaba.

After first round, they current sit 12th on the log with 15 points in 15 games.

They also replaced Hussein Mbalangu with Sadick Sempigi as head coach.
