2025 Vitality Netball Nations: She Cranes lose third consecutive game, set eyes on third place play-off

She Cranes lost their third consecutive game against England in the 2025 Vitality Netball Nations at London’s Copper Box Arena on Saturday evening.

In a closely contested tie, Ugandan Ladies lost 48-59 to the hosts in the final round robin duel.

Despite ending the opening quarter with a 12-11 lead, England came back strong to gain the slim advantage 29-28 by half-time break.

In the third quarter, it went tighter 42 goals from each side before ran rampant, far apart from She Cranes to win by a margin of 11.

Meanwhile, South Africa edged out a hard fighting Malawi 58-55 to book a final berth against England.

Uganda’s previous loses in the series were against the other two African nations in the tournament Malawi and South Africa 59-45 and 45-70 respectively at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham, United Kingdom on the previous weekend.

Malawi and Uganda will play for the third place slot.
