2024/25 Finance Trust Bank Women Elite League Set to return

The highly anticipated 2024/25 Finance Trust Women Elite League (FTBFWEL) is set to return after Four Match Days of top flight action.

This exciting second division competition will officially begin with matches scheduled for Saturday, October 26th, and Sunday, October 27th.

The 14-team league promises intense competition as the top three teams from the FTWEL will earn promotion to the prestigious Finance Trust Women Super League (FTWSL).

The league is divided into two groups: the Elizabeth and Victoria groups, each comprising seven teams.

Last season saw Asubo Gafford Ladies and UCU Lady Cardinals drop into the FTWEL, while Tooro Queens, Amus College, and reigning champions She Corporate were promoted to for top-tier football.

She Corporate won the FTWEL last season and currently compete in the FTWSL.

With thrilling matchups on the horizon, the 2024/25 FTWEL promises to be another exciting season of women’s football in Uganda.
