The Uganda Beach Soccer National Team, Sand Cranes has been pitted against Comoros in the 2022 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.
This is after the qualifiers draws were held on Friday 24th June in Maputo, Mozambique.
The first leg of this encounter will be played between 22-24th July in Comoros while the second leg will take place in Uganda between 5-7th August
The aggregate winner in this qualifier will progress to the final tournament which will held in Maputo, Mozambique from 21st to 30th October 2022.
Uganda featured at the 2021 Beach Soccer AFCON in Senegal and reached the semifinals on their debut.
Senegal are the most successful nation having won the event six times and are also the current champions.
